Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Lync ("we", "us", "our") helps businesses capture and follow up with leads. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit uselync.com or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it plain-English on purpose.

01 Information we collect

We only collect what you give us or what's needed to run our website and respond to you.

Information you provide

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and business details when you submit a form on our site (including our "Get your growth plan" page) or book a call.
  • The contents of messages you send us — through our website chat, by SMS/text, by email, or by phone.
  • Answers you give in our Lync Score quiz (these are used to generate your score and are not tied to your identity unless you also share your contact details).

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical and usage data — such as your device type, browser, approximate location (from IP), pages visited, and referring links — collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Advertising and analytics data via the Meta Pixel (see section 4), which helps us understand how our ads perform.

02 How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, answer questions, and follow up — including automated replies from our AI assistant ("Neo") by text or chat, and follow-up messages from our team.
  • To book and prepare for calls and provide the services you ask about.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, so we show relevant ads and don't waste spend.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

03 Automated messages & SMS

About texts from us

If you provide your phone number, you may receive text messages from us or from our automated assistant, Neo — for example, a reply to your enquiry or a follow-up. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text. To get help, reply HELP. We honour opt-outs promptly and keep a record of them so we don't message you again.

04 Cookies & the Meta Pixel

We use cookies and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand website traffic and measure the results of our ads. The Pixel may record actions like page views and form submissions, and share this with Meta to help us reach similar people and improve ad performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences directly with Meta through their privacy settings. For more on how Meta handles data, see Meta's own privacy policy.

05 Who we share information with

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed. These include:

  • Meta Platforms — advertising and measurement (Meta Pixel).
  • Twilio — to send and receive calls and text messages.
  • Google Firebase — secure database and infrastructure that stores your enquiry so our team can respond.
  • Anthropic — the AI provider that powers Neo's replies (message content is processed to generate a response).
  • Hosting and email providers used to operate our website and communicate with you.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

06 How we protect & keep your data

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access-controlled databases and encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet legal or business requirements — after which it is deleted or anonymized.

07 Your rights & choices

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of texts (reply STOP) or ask us to stop contacting you.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Control cookies and ad tracking through your browser and Meta's settings.

To exercise any of these, just email us at info@uselync.com and we'll take care of it.

08 Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

09 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
